Christian Israel

Here are 3 unconditional physical promises given to physical Israel. They promise that Israel would become:

  • Multitude of Nations - A promise made to Ephraim.

  • Genesis 48:19 And his father refused and said, I know, my son, I know. He also shall become a people, and he also shall be great, but truly his younger brother shall be greater than he is, and his seed shall become a multitude of nations.

  • Many Nations - A promise to Abraham and prophecy about Israel's future.

  • Genesis 17:4 As for Me, behold! My covenant is with you, and you shall be a father of many nations.
5 Neither shall your name any more be called Abram, but your name shall be Abraham. For I have made you a father of many nations.

Romans 4:17 (as it has been written, "I have made you a father of many nations") --before God, whom he believed, who makes the dead live, and calls the things which do not exist as though they do exist.
18 For he who beyond hope believed on hope for him to become the father of many nations (according to that which was spoken, "So your seed shall be")

Zechariah 2:11 And many nations shall be joined to Yahweh in that day, and shall be My people; and I will dwell in your midst, and you shall know that Yahweh of Hosts has sent me to you.

  • Company of Nations - A promise made to Jacob/Israel

  • Genesis 35:11 And God said to him, I am God Almighty. Be fruitful and multiply. A nation and a company of nations shall be from you, and kings shall come out of your loins.

The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob keeps his promises. Our God does not lie. The clues above should help us recognize who true physical Israel is today.

The next page deals with some promises concerning land made to Israel.

Note
"The LORD" has been replaced with the original text YHVH, our God's name. All quotes from the KJV.
